Once you reach Delhi, you will have to proceed towards your boarding point of an AC Volvo Bus for the overnight journey from Delhi to Manali.
Reach Manali early in the morning and meet a representative who will help you with the smooth transfer to the hotel. Check in to the hotel, rest for a while and then you will meet with your fellow riders and get to know each other better. After resting for a while, your sightseeing will start with full enthusiasm and you will be visiting the famous Hadimba temple, Buddhist temple, Clubhouse, Siyali Mahadev, Van Vihar and Old Manali. Along with the same, you will be able to click multiple pictures to create wonderful memories. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
You will start by hitting the road from Manali towards Kaza. You will be passing through the newly inaugurated Atal Tunnel under the famous Rohtang Pass and then drive into the stunning brown-badland landscape to approach Chatru and Batal. At 14,931 feet, you will be catching your first chill at the Kunzum Pass and then descend into Losar Village, the first village in Spiti valley. Take a short stopover at Losar and enjoy a hot cup of tea and some snacks. Having warmed up with a cup of tea, you will continue driving through the stunning landscapes and reach Kaza. You will be spending the night at a comfortable hotel in Kaza.
Post breakfast, you will start your drive towards the beautiful Pin Valley. Imagine a national park with an abundance of animals and birds, with some rare plant varieties, a river that gushes when it isn’t frozen and trekking opportunities for the adventure-seekers. The Pin Valley promises all this and more. You will be first visiting the Kungri Monastery and then the beautiful hamlet of Mudh, which is the last motorable village of the Pin Valley. After lunch, you will ride towards the world famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley. You will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains. From Kibber, you will drive higher up to the secluded village of Gette where you can absorb stunning aerial views of Kaza and tie a prayer flag. Overnight stay at Kaza.
Post early morning breakfast, take your bike out today to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza. Visit the tourist spots including the Key Gompa Monastery that is nestled between the mountains in a bowl shaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley. Langza lies at a whopping height of about 14,500 ft. above sea level and also considered to be one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road and the nearby Komic Village is the highest village. Hikkim is a village in the Spiti district, close to Kaza which is one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in India. After exploring the beautiful villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik, return back to your hotel in Kaza for overnight stay.
Post breakfast, you will proceed towards the next location which is the beautiful crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake. After passing Kunzum La you will take a right before Baltal to visit Chandratal Lake. The beauty of this place is spectacular and you will have to leave behind the vehicle and then trek for two kilometres to reach the lake. The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called the “Moon Lake” due to its crescent shape. It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a cirque on the other. After the sunset, the lake glitters under the starlit sky adding to its overall charm. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal.
Today you will be leaving behind the Spiti Valley and drive towards Manali. On the way, you will be passing through the Atal Tunnel, On reaching Manali, go directly to the bus stand to board an AC Volvo Bus to Delhi. Overnight journey on the bus to Delhi.
In the morning your bus will be reaching Delhi and this will mark the end of your memorable tour to Spiti Valley.
